    REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

    MINTURN CEMETERY DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS


    The Minturn Cemetery District is accepting letters of interest to fill a vacancy for the Board of Directors.  The Minturn Cemetery District is governed by an Eagle County Commissioner appointed board consisting of three total members who oversee and advise the fiscal facilitation and general operations of the community cemetery located in the Town of Minturn. Qualified candidates will reside within the Minturn Cemetery District boundaries (the Town of Vail, the Town of Minturn, and a portion of Eagle-Vail) and will have a qualified background in local government and community involvement. A strong interest in public service and community preservation are also preferred. This is not a paid position and requires regular attendance at monthly board meetings.

    Interested persons shall submit a written letter by no later than April 19, 2015 detailing their professional and personal qualifications as well as their purpose for applying for the position.
